What a conundrum
The good folks at America Forever have gone and faxed a bajillion faxes around the country, decrying the recent half assed attempt at acceptance from the Mormon Church. Whatever it is that the church was hoping to accomplish with their shenanigans, seems to be blowing up in their face. Progressive people don’t trust the church and see their announcement as a thinly veiled attempt to deflect criticism that is being lobbed their way, while conservatives are going on the attack, furious that the Mormon church “caved” into gay demands by agreeing they had the right to work without prejudiced.
Once again, I think it’s only fair to offer them the same courtesy and fire them for being poorly educated mouth breathers.
On November 10th ,the Salt Lake City City Council, passed an ordinance for the city of Salt Lake to extend protection for Gays, Lesbians, Transgender and Bisexuals from discrimination on employment and housing. Although the church extended their support publically, since the gays have moved into Salt Lake City to elect officials to pass laws in their behalf, they already had all the votes they needed and did not need The LDS Church’s support to pass it. It was all a trap to show that the church runs the state and to sway the citizens of the entire state in support of this same bill, and other bills in the Common Ground Initiative in the state legislature that promote homosexuality and attack marriage. Why did the church do this when we know where The LDS Church stands? We all know that there must be a good reason for the church to be taking this political stand in support of this ordinance. One could do some research and read The Salt Lake Tribune article on November 11th, to understand what went on.
The LDS Church gave its support to this ordinance under the ground of fairness, because politically, the church needed to protect the entity of the church. It was necessary for the church to be carved out of having to hire and rent to gays, lesbians, transgenders, and bisexuals. This act of joining and giving them public support allows them, The LDS Church and all other Religions, to discriminate against people with different sexual conduct because it is against what they believe to be moral. However, businesses and citizens, even with the same religious beliefs do not have this right according to the new ordinance. It means SEAGULL BOOKS, HERITAGE SCHOOLS AND EVERY CITIZEN WHO HAS THE SAME MORAL STANDARDS WILL BE FORCED TO NOT DISCRIMINATE. Businesses who hire a man, and tomorrow he comes to work dressed up as a woman, cannot fire him. An old lady who rents a basement to two young men, not knowing they are gay and later sees them in their backyard barbecuing with their gay friends kissing and she doesn’t want to be around that, she cannot tell them to move. How many will be fired, and their employers do not even know that they are gay, and some may not even be, and yet they will say they are.
This is a bad ordinance; The LDS Church had to show its support, so that religion could be carved out. However, this law is nothing but unfair to all other religious and non-religious citizens. Furthermore, The LDS Church’s worse enemy of this century are the gays, they have persecuted the church, and in recent events when the church arrested 2 gay men kissing in the Main Street Plaza, the church caved in to protect themselves and to stop the harassment and lawsuits from the gays who were arrested in the Main Street Plaza.
After looking at their site for a while, two things have come to my attention.
1. Their site is horribly designed and as ugly as the childrens music they produce. I sent them an email offering my services for a very fair and very homosexual price.
2. They have no idea what they are mad at, other than the typical social conservative nonsense. Blacks are everywhere, Gays are alive, God is not cool anymore. Blah blah blah.
It’s one thing to be this crazy and hateful as an adult, but they have dragged their kids into it as well. Take a moment and listen to this wonderful song and by wonderful I mean very poorly written and sung by tone deaf children and what sounds like a man giving birth through his urethra. Whoo!
If you have not had enough of them yet, check out this great video sang to the tune of that grandpa song from the Simpsons. Yeah, I could have figured out the name of the actual song, but I honestly don’t care, so you just calm the fuck down!
It really is a horribly offensive and ignorant bunch of nonsense and fear. We should have the right to gather up these people and send them to Iran, so they can live in a theocracy, or better yet. Let’s just eat them. Vegetarians can watch.

I am not sure why I have not seen more of this in the news, but thanks go out to NewsPoliticsAmerica for sharing this CNN video.
Apparently, since 1991, the RNC has allowed elective abortions to be covered in their employee health care program. Oops.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking.
First the RNC comes out against gay marriage and gay Americans, only to have a slew of homosexual and heterosexual tabloid disasters, forever tarnishing their family values image.
Then they come out against big taxes and government, only to allow sweeping wire taps of innocent Americans, all while supporting two unpopular, illegal and very expensive wars. Around this time they engage in torture and sedition, altering the “personal rights and freedoms” credo they claim as their own.
Not long after, they attack health care as a socialized institution, all the while having no issue taking money from corporate interests and allowing their representatives some of the best health care in the world. Health care paid for by American citizens… awkward socialism at its best?
Now we find out they offer elective abortion coverage in their Jesus Saves health care plan!? I just don’t think I can be a card carrying Republican anymore. What has become of my party? Where has the party of outright racism, homophobia and religious intolerance gone? The shame… the shame.

John Stewart responds to Fox New’s response to their criticism of their Michelle Bachmann, Bat Shit Crazy circus rally. Now, that sentence didn’t make a lot of sense and there is so much back and forth in this, that I’ll just link the original article here.
I don’t think any of my readers actually watch Fox News and if they do, none of them consider it actually news anymore than I consider Deborah Gibson a good actor. Seriously, did you see Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus? What was with that movie? It was just so, so, so very bad and all those racist Asian jokes reminded me of this.
Anyway, check this response out. It’s not too hilarious, but it’s always nice to see John’s front room. He lives just like us. Shitty couch, small living space and he does that thing with peanut butter and a corn dog. Some of you know what I am talking about. Rob…

Video showing the reaction of Republicans and Democrats during the final tally of Health Care Reform votes.

Of all the Republicans who voted on Health Care tonight, one crossed party lines to address a change that he felt was desperately needed. What makes matters even more ironic is that he has been touted as the future of the Republican party. I don’t know much about this man, but of what I do know, I wouldn’t mind some more intelligent, non whites in the Republican party.
One Republican lawmaker out of 177 crossed party lines to support the health care reform legislation offered by Democrats.
Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao, the Louisiana Republican who hails from a decidedly Democratic New Orleans district, voted yea on the final passage of legislation. He joined 219 Democrats to make the final margin 220 to 215 in favor of reform’s passage.
Cao was a major (and possibly the lone) target for Democrats hoping to get even a semblance of bipartisan support for the bill. He said after the vote that he had obtained a “commitment from President Obama that he and I will work together to address the critical health care issues of Louisiana.”

Children may be innocents, but that doesn't mean we can't use them as political pawns. Hazaah!
Oh you feisty Republicans, when will you learn that children only understand two things. Fun and doing what they want. Children don’t support or refute health care, they don’t support or deny gay rights, they don’t know what socialism is, they don’t care about taxes and they sure as hell don’t care about the corporate interests of America.
This buffoon prattles on for about 2 minutes about this little girl and what “she believes in”, completely unaware that as he is using her as a political pawn as she is shitting in her pants. The only thing this girl believes in is, oh wait, nothing.
These people are twits and watching their decline into extremism is not as enjoyable as it should be.
Rep. John Shadegg makes that baby look like a genius.

Everyone was excited about the passing of Health Care Reform, but Randy, the naked page, had stolen the show once again. TV cameras or not, Democratic senators could not help but look at the scene unfolding before them.
Let me start by saying that this country desperately needs health care reform and I am glad to see our cowardly democratic leaders working towards that end. Too long have insurance companies and greedy corporations held the health of Americans below the standard of gold and the desire for money. Greed has been inbred into our health care system and with such a force that it has acquired the power to sway its influences over the very people it takes advantage of. This reform is badly needed, but as to what ends this particular bill will reach that goal, we will only see in time.
Many of us are still upset that a single payer option was stricken from the table so soon. As to what this will mean for reform is still unknown, but some worry that this bill is nothing more than a boon to insurance companies. There are several provisions in the bill that are much needed and they include making the practice of denying individuals, based on their current conditions, illegal. This, while a no brainer, is long over due.
Democratic aides: We’ve got the votes. “Today we will pass the Affordable Health Care for America Act,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on the House floor Saturday evening. Politico is reporting that Democrats have at least the 218 votes needed to pass the bill. Three Democratic aides tell HuffPost the same thing.
Kristie Greco, a spokeswoman for Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.), declined to confirm the number.
The news that Pelosi has the votes can have unpredictable effects on undecided members. Some members, seeing the bill passing, may want to pile on and get on the side of history. Others react by thinking that they can now oppose it, look tough at home, but not jeopardize passage. Toward that end, watch for a handful of no votes to dribble out from Dems over the next hour or so.
Here is to hoping the bill will benefit us all and possibly allow further reform atop its success at a later date.
