Wow…. I am at a loss for words…. seriously.
I just don’t know how someone, let alone so many, could be so ignorant of the world around them. I believe there are too many gems in this video to use one or two that would actively portray the terrifying stupidity of these people. Watching this video is like watching a newsman report on mass hysteria at a special education school. These people have no right to call themselves Americans and I don’t care how horrible this may sound, but we need to implement laws that dictate an extensive amount of education be reached before one is allowed to vote, or even possibly reproduce.
Stupid people are everywhere and there are plenty of unintelligent nobs that voted for Obama, yet grasp the same educational level of these Wal Mart mouth breathers. The only difference?
Obama doesn’t mirror the lesser of his base, Sarah Palin does.
After watching this video I wonder if a Socialist, Marxist,Leninist is the same thing as an obese, Caucasian, skinny, black guy.
I hope that Palin runs, effectively drawing even more of the Republican base away from whatever old white guy they throw up there.
“When you are right, you don’t have to compromise.” I think this sums up the arrogance of our lazy nation quite nicely.

A new survey from Public Policy Poll has shown that, if Democrats do not pass health care reform with a public option, they risk losing reelection bids. I would consider this a “no duh” moment, but apparently pollsters found this surprising.
The survey asked registered voters whether they would choose a Democrat or a Republican next year, if a health care bill with a public option has been passed. Forty-six percent said they would vote for a Democrat, while only 41% said they would vote for a Republican. When asked the same question under the scenario that Congress fails to pass health care reform legislation, the parties tied on the generic ballot, 40%-40%.
While the numbers show that passing health care reform, does not advance their numbers, it also shows that failing to deliver on this will result in them being hurt. Nate Silver went on to say -
Both polling and common sense would seem to dictate that the best way for Democrats to cut their losses would be to pass a health care bill — particularly one with a public option — and then move on to debating financial regulation and a jobs program, where public sentiment should be more on their side. They should probably not expect to gain ground if they pass health care — but they’re likely to lose more if they don’t.
I know that many people I have spoken with have stated their plans to begin voting independent if the Democrats fail to deliver on a multitude of promises and policy changes. I would consider myself one of those people as well.

"This is the softest wolf and liberal media elite pelt I've ever worn!"
“How Sarah Palin might win the White House” is an insightful and nerve wracking article written by Matthew Dowd at The Washington Post about the possibility of having Sarah Palin as our next president.
Hmm, President Palin…this is a scary, but totally a possible scenario. So is this: Sarah De Vil. Just watch, she’ll get into office and this will happen. This is a pretty frightening scenario too: The Mormons got the afterlife right!… or worse, I’ll never be thin again!

I have always enjoyed Keith Olbermann’s show, even if he has a penchant for the dramatics. Sometimes I want to jump through the TV and tell him, “Tone it down a bit. You are obviously an intelligent man, but your dramatics are making you look like a liberal Glenn Beck.”
Here is a clip from tonight’s Countdown, in which he discusses this weeks “Worst person in the world.”

Compassion may be running short these days, but the same can’t be said about stunning acts of greed and short sided business selfishness.
Benjamin French (age 12) was born with an incomplete right arm as the appendage ends at the elbow. Aside from wowing the crowds with “Hey, where did my arm go” tricks at social gatherings, this has obviously made his life much more difficult. Benjamin has insurance, which has been paying for his prosthetic arms, but in the face of his insurances companies generosity he spit and went one step too far.
He grew.
Apparently “children” grow and during this process they get taller, wider and if they are gothic, they become paler and carry around an undeserved sense of mystery and general cockery. (Yes, it’s a word).

The sad thing is that this kid can still throw a football better than I can and that's WITH his elbow arm.
The problem with this act of expansion is that his insurance company will no longer pay for his prosthetic, alerting Benjamin to the fact that he has “used his maximum lifetime benefit amount.” Which, and I could be wrong about this, is another way of saying, “You cost us too much money and if you really cared about our feelings, you would have been born with two complete arms, like the rest of us.” Misplaced cynicism aside, not only is this uncommon, it’s perfectly legal in Benjamin’s home state.
In his 12 years, he has been fitted with seven prostheses. His most recent replacement will cost nearly $30,000 and his doctor says he will soon grow out of it.
But, according to his insurance company, the boy is ineligible for further coverage of prosthetic devices because he has already spent his lifetime maximum benefit.
Benjamin’s family happens to live in Michigan, one of 33 states where insurance companies are allowed to set annual and lifetime caps on prosthetic coverage. The family’s policy with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan covers a maximum of $30,000 per lifetime for prosthetics, plus $1,000 per year for repairs. In states such as Colorado and Maryland, the law says there can be no such cap on prosthetics.
“It seems really unfair,” said Benjamin’s mother, Kristen French. “The insurance company can do this in one state, but not in another? It’s ridiculous.”
The French family represents one small part of a for-profit health care system rife with inequities and inconsistencies: Some people have insurance, some do not. For those who are insured, individual policies operate under different rules than group policies. Each insurance company and every individual policy has different requirements, exclusions, and benefits.
And, as in the case of Benjamin French — people with nearly identical health problems may have vastly different experiences with their private health insurance companies depending on their state of residence. Another example of the inequity: If Benjamin’s family were poor enough to qualify for Medicaid, most if not all of the cost of his new arm would be covered.
His parents should have thought about that before they selfishly earned too much money to provide for their family. My suggestion? Quit your jobs. Prosthetic arms and the ability to wipe yourself are of small concern when you are starving to death.
So what does someone do in this situation? I would like to cite this as another reason for comprehensive health care reform, but that would be redundant. So, in place of a personal opinion about the seriously failing standards of our health care system I will simply say this.
Sorry kid, in America, money talks and you’ll have to learn to live without.

How do you write a book, if you can't read?
Sarah Palin has a new book out and no one wants it. (Insert shock and surprise here)
The book has not even landed in stores yet and it’s already discounted 40% off the original retail price. I don’t know much about publication, but I would consider that a 1,2 punch in the “shut the hell up Sarah Palin” gut. I suggest she pray to Jesus and demand he stop spying on gay marriages and take up a post at Harper Collins.
In her book, Palin covers a wide swath of America in her generalized disgust with anyone with a college education or mediocre belief in science. From bloggers to the “Liberal Media Elite”, Sarah Palin makes many a baseless claims about those who simply decided to call her nonsense and partisan idiocracy as they saw it. Much of this started with Tina Fey’s impersonation of her on SNL and seemed to snowball from there.
According to Palin, SNL was out to get her and maliciously transformed her , “Drill, Baby, Drill” mantra into something perverse and sexual. Apparently a sexual innuendo is worse than lacking the intellectual integrity to admit that fossil fuels will be the downfall of our country and that destroying the environment for a dirty fuel is probably not the best option. She goes on to insult SNL, claiming that she expected more of them. Obviously she hasn’t watched the show in some time.

I can see Russia from my blouse?
Sadly, I have to admit I agree with her, in some ways.
Of course SNL is rarely funny anymore and we all know who to blame for that, but it’s not that she expected SNL to be funnier in this case, simply that she was upset that she was being skewered for being an uneducated plebeian.
Palin had very little to say about bloggers, that did not sound as if it had been dipped in an ink well of poisonous envy. While the media has been ridiculous in their treatment of her from time to time (as demonstrated below), her treatment was no more intellectually dishonest than the treatment Bush and Cheney had received from an ill prepared and lazy media. She continues to claim that she was treated poorly because she was a woman and that the media had a love affair with Obama, when the truth of the matter was very simple.
America and the media had been overwhelmed with Christian theology and intellectual suicide for the previous 8 years and they didn’t want any more “good ol boy” political stupidity. Palin’s inability to accept that she lost her bid for the vice presidency, because of her personality and intelligence, is a telling sign of her fading presence in reality.
This video clearly shows that the media disliked her as this was not worth considering “news worthy”. It’s even worse when you consider that turkey murder had to be censored so that Americans wouldn’t feel bad or be forced to accept where their food comes from. This very simple act is very indicative of the medias coddling of the American psyche.
There were plenty and I mean PLENTY of other news worthy stories they could have focused on to discredit this woman. However, making this stupid video a youtube sensation was poor journalism. Oh and who the hell pardons a turkey? I digress.
However she felt about the MSM and liberal bloggers, it was nothing compared to her disdain for Katie Couric.
“Though Katie edited out substantive answers, she dutifully kept in the moments where I wore my annoyance on my sleeve…. There was much Katie appeared not to know, or care to hear about.”
[snip]
“But Katie wasn’t interested in discussing these issues. And when I did, she didn’t air them. Instead, when I tried to describe frequent Russian incursions by figuratively referring to Vladimir Putin entering our airspace, CBS researched the Russian leader’s actual flight over the United States and called my statement inaccurate. And when I referenced Alaska’s narrow maritime border to describe our close proximity to other nations, CBS reported that the Coast Guard monitored the border and not the governor.”
[snip]
“But Katie’s purpose – shared by most media types – seemed to be to frame a ‘gotcha’ moment. And it worked. Instead of my scoring points for John McCain, I knew that I had let the team down.”
[snip]
“I don’t think she really wanted to hear my answer because she interrupted me five times as I tried to give it. The badgering had begun. This is really annoying me, I thought. Then she asked me about abortion and the morning-after pill twelve times. Twelve different times.”
[snip]
“I answered as graciously and as patiently as I could. Each time, I reiterated my pro-life, pro-woman, pro-adoption position. But no matter how many ways I tried to say it, Katie responded by asking her question again in a slightly different way. I began to feel like I was in the movie Groundhog Day.”
I have watched the infamous Katie Couric interview several times and it would have taken a miracle in order for Palin to come off intelligent. Her responses, no matter how many erroneous claims of editor bias she lobs, were poorly thought out and respective of her passion for intellectual exploration and curiosity. In Short, the woman was way out of her league and a blind, deaf immigrant would have been able to discern that. It wasn’t Katie Couric that ruined Palin’s career, it was Sarah Palin.
As horribly enjoyable as her fall has been, I do not have any misgivings about the woman. She is incredibly ambitious and she has no plans of vanishing anytime soon. I would not be surprised if we see her on the Republican ticket in 2012, even if she has to create an offshoot of the already disjointed party. As bloggers, we must keep the media on its toes and keep the conversation going.
America has a terrible memory and in 3 years they may very well forget the train wreck that was and will undoubtedly be again, Sarah Palin.

What a conundrum
The good folks at America Forever have gone and faxed a bajillion faxes around the country, decrying the recent half assed attempt at acceptance from the Mormon Church. Whatever it is that the church was hoping to accomplish with their shenanigans, seems to be blowing up in their face. Progressive people don’t trust the church and see their announcement as a thinly veiled attempt to deflect criticism that is being lobbed their way, while conservatives are going on the attack, furious that the Mormon church “caved” into gay demands by agreeing they had the right to work without prejudiced.
Once again, I think it’s only fair to offer them the same courtesy and fire them for being poorly educated mouth breathers.
On November 10th ,the Salt Lake City City Council, passed an ordinance for the city of Salt Lake to extend protection for Gays, Lesbians, Transgender and Bisexuals from discrimination on employment and housing. Although the church extended their support publically, since the gays have moved into Salt Lake City to elect officials to pass laws in their behalf, they already had all the votes they needed and did not need The LDS Church’s support to pass it. It was all a trap to show that the church runs the state and to sway the citizens of the entire state in support of this same bill, and other bills in the Common Ground Initiative in the state legislature that promote homosexuality and attack marriage. Why did the church do this when we know where The LDS Church stands? We all know that there must be a good reason for the church to be taking this political stand in support of this ordinance. One could do some research and read The Salt Lake Tribune article on November 11th, to understand what went on.
The LDS Church gave its support to this ordinance under the ground of fairness, because politically, the church needed to protect the entity of the church. It was necessary for the church to be carved out of having to hire and rent to gays, lesbians, transgenders, and bisexuals. This act of joining and giving them public support allows them, The LDS Church and all other Religions, to discriminate against people with different sexual conduct because it is against what they believe to be moral. However, businesses and citizens, even with the same religious beliefs do not have this right according to the new ordinance. It means SEAGULL BOOKS, HERITAGE SCHOOLS AND EVERY CITIZEN WHO HAS THE SAME MORAL STANDARDS WILL BE FORCED TO NOT DISCRIMINATE. Businesses who hire a man, and tomorrow he comes to work dressed up as a woman, cannot fire him. An old lady who rents a basement to two young men, not knowing they are gay and later sees them in their backyard barbecuing with their gay friends kissing and she doesn’t want to be around that, she cannot tell them to move. How many will be fired, and their employers do not even know that they are gay, and some may not even be, and yet they will say they are.
This is a bad ordinance; The LDS Church had to show its support, so that religion could be carved out. However, this law is nothing but unfair to all other religious and non-religious citizens. Furthermore, The LDS Church’s worse enemy of this century are the gays, they have persecuted the church, and in recent events when the church arrested 2 gay men kissing in the Main Street Plaza, the church caved in to protect themselves and to stop the harassment and lawsuits from the gays who were arrested in the Main Street Plaza.
After looking at their site for a while, two things have come to my attention.
1. Their site is horribly designed and as ugly as the childrens music they produce. I sent them an email offering my services for a very fair and very homosexual price.
2. They have no idea what they are mad at, other than the typical social conservative nonsense. Blacks are everywhere, Gays are alive, God is not cool anymore. Blah blah blah.
It’s one thing to be this crazy and hateful as an adult, but they have dragged their kids into it as well. Take a moment and listen to this wonderful song and by wonderful I mean very poorly written and sung by tone deaf children and what sounds like a man giving birth through his urethra. Whoo!
If you have not had enough of them yet, check out this great video sang to the tune of that grandpa song from the Simpsons. Yeah, I could have figured out the name of the actual song, but I honestly don’t care, so you just calm the fuck down!
It really is a horribly offensive and ignorant bunch of nonsense and fear. We should have the right to gather up these people and send them to Iran, so they can live in a theocracy, or better yet. Let’s just eat them. Vegetarians can watch.

I am not sure why I have not seen more of this in the news, but thanks go out to NewsPoliticsAmerica for sharing this CNN video.
Apparently, since 1991, the RNC has allowed elective abortions to be covered in their employee health care program. Oops.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking.
First the RNC comes out against gay marriage and gay Americans, only to have a slew of homosexual and heterosexual tabloid disasters, forever tarnishing their family values image.
Then they come out against big taxes and government, only to allow sweeping wire taps of innocent Americans, all while supporting two unpopular, illegal and very expensive wars. Around this time they engage in torture and sedition, altering the “personal rights and freedoms” credo they claim as their own.
Not long after, they attack health care as a socialized institution, all the while having no issue taking money from corporate interests and allowing their representatives some of the best health care in the world. Health care paid for by American citizens… awkward socialism at its best?
Now we find out they offer elective abortion coverage in their Jesus Saves health care plan!? I just don’t think I can be a card carrying Republican anymore. What has become of my party? Where has the party of outright racism, homophobia and religious intolerance gone? The shame… the shame.
